What Else to Do During Safari to Tanzania

Activities on Safari To Tanzania

Whenever you choose to take a safari in Tanzania, you can do additional  fun activities in addition to game driving  in the parks.

Depending on your personal preferences you can do  the following:

Hot Air Balloon Safaris in Serengeti and Tarangire. before proceeding to game driving you will start your day early and spend a time in hot air balloon safari. Although both locations are stunning, most of clients choose Serengeti over Tarangire where in time of great wildebeest migration views to Serengeti plains are just amazing!

Walking safari  - to stretch your legs as you wil spent hours in your safari vehicle.

Walking safaris can be arranged in certain areas of the parks or sometimes accomondation  includes it in your price automatically.

If you have Arusha National Park in your itinerary, walking safari is included in the tour. Or for example if you choose to overnight in more  luxury lodges many of them include walking safaris in overnight  price. One of them is Lake Manyara Conservancy ranch  and some high end  lodges within Serengeti.
More enthusiastic hikers can do some  light  trekking as well trekking is the most popular choice so far, as well as in Ngorongoro  Conversation area trekkings (different duration) are possible.
